ABOUT THE ARTIST

Yair Alain Cohen, was born on the Ivory Coast in 1980. He came to Israel in 1984, with the return of his parents to Israel after a term as expatriates.

Mr. Cohen attended the Mousrara School of Photography and Imagery in Jerusalem during the years 2000-2003.


Prizes:


- 3rd place winner in "Nikon Photo Contest International 2006-2007", under the "Smile, Smile, Smile" category.

Group exhibitions:


- “Bedouins of the Negev”, Tel Aviv Cinemateque, 2002;

- “The Ethiopian Christian Community” Museum of the Land of Israel, Tel Aviv, 2002;

- As part of his Final Project at the Mousrara School of Photography and Imagery, he exhibited at the Mahtaroth Museum in Jerusalem in 2003.

- “Exemplary Leadership Project: Utopia”, at the Azrieli Towers in Tel Aviv,exhibited with 120 outstanding artists representing the diverse population of Israel, March 2004;
